2011/08/09 Facebook Session

Dear sisters,

Our  learning activity in August is about Facebook which was scheduled on next Tuesday August 9th 7:00pm at DFW Technology (Directions).

Facebook is a very popular social networking service and website. It has more than 750 million active users as of July 2011. Users can create profiles with photos, lists of personal interests, contact information, and can communicate with friends and other users through private or public messages and a chat feature.

Our GFCBW sister, Aileen will take us through the basic and practical use of Facebook. We will have two concurrent windows session: one for Facebook and the other for e-mail and the 3rd to show the document directory where the photo images are stored . 

So please save one 2x2 photo for  your Facebook profile and several other pictures (to be used in creating  your photo albums) on your laptop before the session. Any question, you may contact Aileen Peng at 469-734-9242.
